Seven things that are detestable:
Haughty eyes,
a lying tongue,
hands that shred innocent blood,
a heart that devises wicked schemes,
feet that are quick to rush into evil,
a false witness who pours out lies
and a someone who stirs up dissension amongst family.
Proverbs 6:16-19
Perhaps it's a standard that we will all be judged by and if not in this life it shall be in the next.
