Re-Visiting the Path of Destruction?

As we take a stroll down memory lane, at the ocean side, it is unnerving to realize the impact of devastation that has occurred due to one person's sins done to another in a dark, secret place so many years ago. To see how many "other" lives that have been harmed in addition to the victim as the result of the sick violation done to the innocent child (as a 3 year old) and the waves of hurt that just keep rolling in, affecting so many people in so many ways. Standing before God someday will be very interesting. To think "He" does not notice the deeds done when no one else can see......and to have the trickle down affect from it be clear and the horror of it be made plain. Selah. Someone has said once, " we are as sick as our secrets. "
Do visit 1 COR 4:2-5 and Eccl 12:13,14 and Matt 12:33-36 and Prov 6:16-19....Everyone in our saga will be measured by the same stick, of this we can be sure!

I am so thankful that the innocent accused who waits in prison for his justice that was denied him in a sham trial does know Jesus as his Savior and Lord. Jesus, Who was betrayed by a friend, comforts the man who was betrayed by a stepdaughter who wove a fantastic web of her multiple lies and now denies to herself to even contemplate the hideous wounds she has given to her mother who still loves her and a stepfather who treated her with love and kindness. His reward?...a lifetime in prison...for no earthly reason...only the devil's gleeful gloating over his control of a foolish girl trapped by her lies and hidden painful memories of molestation as a toddler by her biological father. God's justice will prevail...one day. B

Yes, it must be difficult for that stepdaughter to come clean with her story. To do so would dissappoint her entourage of supporters. Those people who never knew her mom or stepdad are more important to her for now. She will tell the truth one day it is inevitable. Her and her clan cannot face all those who knew her all the way up to her wild runaway. She cannot face one of us. Not sure how someone like that can live with themselves.

FYI update today: Each and everyone who played a part in the wicked scheming to put our innocent man in jail has issues in their life as if they swallowed poison. Each person who is hurting from the betrayal and lies, robbed of healthy relationships also is affected deeply...some to the point of suicide. It has been said that there is no rest for the wicked and it may be unfolding before our eyes. "The wheels are falling off the bus!" Even at the root of our story, the real perpetrator has had a bad motorcycle accident....must be unconfessed "sin" in his life. That's a quote HE, himself always liked to use anyway as an exuse for "people" having a hard time.

As always we will continue to pray for Daddy B to get everything he needs and that God's will be done in his life. It is by the grace of God and HIS goodness that leads all men to repent. Even in a tragedy God can turn the hearts of men. So be it. God speed.

Check out this idea to protect the innocent.....
Putting an innocent person in jail, for even one day, is the legal equivalent of a plane crash. And what does the Federal Aviation Administration do when there's a plane crash? It goes after the facts, finds the black box, gathers engineers and pilots and convenes a review to pinpoint what went wrong and takes steps to fix it. Not to file a lawsuit or get somebody fired, but to locate the problem and fix it. Or in a hospital, when someone dies under unusual circumstances, a postmortem committee of the physician, the surgeon, the anesthesiologist, even the person at the front desk who asked you when you last ate, are all pulled together to try to make sure that no mistake is duplicated.

The criminal justice system should do the same. San Diego should be the first county in the country to convene a Committee of Innocence. Made up of a retired judge, a prosecutor, a defense attorney and investigator, and a cop, they should convene when the system breaks like it did with Cindy. Their job? Gather the facts, identify the problems and make a very public presentation of ways to fix it.
